I am an artist who specializes in photorealistic portraits using graphite and charcoal pencils. My love of drawing and creativity started as early as I can remember. I was known in grade school to finish my school work quickly, just so I could draw while my other classmates completed their work. I loved to watch my father paint abstract artwork in our kitchen. Today, when I watch my own daughter get in her artistic groove, it brings back so many amazing memories of my evolution as an artist. Drawing has been an incredible source of inspiration and emotional expression for me. Creating artwork has always been my way of bringing myself back to the very core of who I am.

When I first sought out to sell my work in 2013, I had no idea that portraits would be one of my number one sellers. I have recreated many photos into drawings for people as gifts for their loved ones. I’ve created portraits for many couples celebrating anniversaries (in particular, First Wedding Anniversaries), for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, for birthdays, and Christmas. It brings me so much joy to be able to create something beautiful and meaningful for others.
